Pause a Moment: Illustrated Black Enterprise Magazine Covers

It was not uncommon to find illustrations below Black Enterprise Magazine's masthead in the seventies. Typically, the illustration was contained in a box with a black border, a standard feature for the magazine during that decade. Some covers deviated from the black border. But, due to the recognizable masthead, there was no question that you were picking up a Black Enterprise mag.
