Broken or otherwise

Narrator: Tabitha of The Pairabirds

Our Christmas tree is packed with ornaments. Every year, we vow not to buy a new ornament the following year. But, we breakdown and buy that really cute one that looks like Bailey (our pomapoo), or that kitschy one at Goodwill, or that sparkly mini disco ball.

I rarely throw ornaments away, except the shattered bulb ornaments. So, there are a few ornaments that have missing antlers or chipped toes. I stopped throwing away ornaments after I saw a holiday cartoon called Noel. It premiered in the early/mid 90s. It was about a little dejected red ornament that just wanted to know what was in the "little house" underneath the tree (the nativity).

I can't seem to let ornaments go now after seeing that talking ornament.
