Ambition

I really am trying to finish projects. I really am.

But, I have so many ideas of things I want to do. The little carry-alls that I hinted at in a previous entry, are still sitting on the drying rack, awaiting their second coat of varnish. I haven't started a painting in weeks, though I already have some canvases prepared. Then, two days ago I decided to do a drawing/painting everyday. Yesterday was Day #2 and I already feel off the wagon. I decided it would be more realistic of me to do 5 drawings/paintings a week. Some days I can churn out drawings like a machine. Some days I use the drawings as confetti! At least Illustration Friday will give me an idea for one drawing.

On the day I decided to do a piece everyday, I finished two drawings. The one above is one of them. I have been trying to focus on adding more original pieces to my shop. I'll still have plenty of prints, but, I've had several request for originals.

Now I must complete one task today. I think I'll varnish today. The first coat has been dry for two weeks now.
