May Thrift Store Finds: Books and Insect
There were waaaay too many romance novels at Goodwill. Plus, two of the shelves used for adult fiction was used to house VHS movies. Really? Two shelves to hold discarded Adam Sandler and Pauly Shore movies and The Funniest Goofs in Golf '94 videos?
Eh, I managed to find some books, though.
An Actual Life by Abigail Thomas
Expecting Adam by Martha Beck
Solar Storms by Linda Hogan
More Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin
Sensual Phrase by Mayu Shinjo
While I was Gone by Sue Miller
Through the Ivory Gate by Rita Dove
Burnt Shadows by Kamila Shamsie
As I was headed towards the cash register, this Art Deco/Spacebug caught my eye:
He was only $1.99. It has a bit of weight to it, so it may be a paperweight.
All in all, decent day looking for books at the thrift shop. Found some novels and little guy to keep them company.

do you read a lot of romance novels?
No. I can't seem to find many that aren't so... cheesy. All the ones at the thrift store are the ones from the 80s with Fabio look-a-likes on the cover.
If you know of any good romance, I'll be willing to try it.
